Accounting and bookkeeping services in Dubai

Written by AccWins tax & advisory team Reviewed by Mr. Waqar Updated

We keep the books for Dubai mainland and free zone companies each month, file VAT returns every quarter and prepare the annual corporate tax return, for a fixed monthly fee. Your records stay ready for the FTA, which requires them to be kept for 7 years and to support every figure you file.

Who we work with in Dubai

Owner-managed companies, typically with 1 to 50 staff, licensed by the Department of Economy and Tourism on the mainland or by a free zone such as DMCC, JAFZA, DAFZA, IFZA, Meydan or Dubai South. Trading, contracting, e-commerce, consultancies, clinics, restaurants and agencies all fit. If VAT, corporate tax and e-invoicing have made a part-time bookkeeper or a spreadsheet feel risky, this is the service for you.

What is included each month?

  • Recording sales, purchases and expenses from your invoices, receipts and bank feeds.
  • Bank, card and payment-gateway reconciliations.
  • Receivables and payables lists, so you know who owes you and whom you owe.
  • A monthly profit and loss and balance sheet you can read in five minutes.
  • VAT working papers, ready for the return due 28 days after each quarter.

We work in Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Xero or Tally, or set one up for you.

“Within a maximum of nine (9) months from the end of their relevant Tax Period.”

What do UAE rules require from your books?

Accounts prepared under IFRS, or IFRS for SMEs if revenue is AED 50 million or less, with cash accounting allowed only up to AED 3 million of revenue (DLA Piper summary of Ministerial Decision No. 114 of 2023). Records must be kept for 7 years after the tax period (Finance Middle East on FTA guidance). VAT registration is mandatory once taxable supplies pass AED 375,000 in 12 months (Federal Tax Authority), and every company files a corporate tax return within 9 months of its year end (Federal Tax Authority).

How we start

  • A free 20-minute call to understand your business, volumes and deadlines.
  • A fixed monthly fee in writing, based on transaction volume, not hours.
  • A one-off clean-up if the books are behind, priced separately and agreed upfront.
  • A monthly routine with fixed dates for sending documents and receiving your reports.

How much does bookkeeping cost in Dubai?

Yes. We take the closing balances and records, check them, and take over from the next month.

Do I need to visit your office?
